Preparing Your Boat

Make sure you have prepared your boat to be transported to prevent damage or any other issues during the journey.

Condition – Check the condition of your boat for damage and take as many pictures/videos as possible so you have a reference on delivery to see if it suffered any damage during transit. If it’s a new purchase this is very important as you wont be so familiar with the boat.

Empty the the boat of water, fuel and valuables – Pump out all water and fuel from the vessel and disconnect the fuel tank. This moves the risk of leaks and other issues. Remove anything valuable.

Secure loose items – We suggest you remove them, but make sure all accessories (life jackets etc) are locked away in cupboards or storage areas – secure all doors and compartments. Any covers must be secured tightly to make sure they don’t fly away whilst travelling.

If you’re transporting a sailing vessel, please be advised that the mast among other things will likely need to be removed.

On Delivery
